Refund Policy

How credits work
You buy credits in packs through Polar.sh. 1 credit = 1 mockup render. Credits do not expire. New accounts may receive a small number of free trial credits at our discretion.
Failed renders
If a render fails (fal.ai returns an error, the model output is rejected, etc.), the credit is automatically refunded to your balance. You don't need to email us about this — it's automatic and you'll see the credit reappear in your balance within a few seconds.
Refunds of unused credits
If you change your mind about a recent purchase and have unused credits, we'll refund them on request:
- Email hello@madmocks.com from the address on your account.
- We will refund unused credits within 7 days of purchase, returning the pro-rated amount to your original payment method via Polar.
- After 7 days, refunds are at our discretion — we usually grant them for genuine dissatisfaction, but not for buyer's remorse on bulk packs.
Used credits are not refundable
Once a credit has been spent on a successful render — meaning the mockup image was generated and delivered — that credit is not refundable, even if you're unhappy with the output. If a render produces an output you didn't expect, you can re-mock with adjusted settings (each render is a fresh credit charge).
Policy violations
If your account is suspended or terminated for violation of our Acceptable Use Policy, unused credits at the time of suspension are forfeit and not refundable.
Disputed transactions
If you didn't make a purchase that appears on your statement, please email us before opening a chargeback so we can investigate. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in account suspension.
